There are three funding opportunities for FIRST TIME Sanford Program partners:

FIRST TIME potential partners that are a school district, school, or postsecondary institutions that will implement Sanford Programs in schools, may apply for grant support to implement Sanford Harmony and integrate high-quality professional development modules through Sanford Inspire. These two-year awards are expected to range between $2,500 and $15,000 per year, depending on scale and impact. Under the grant:

  • Sanford Programs will provide Harmony training support and curriculum kits for every classroom.
  • Grant funds must be used to intentionally embed Harmony and integrate elected Inspire modules for teachers and/or after-school providers.
  • Partners agree to submit required monthly reporting to Sanford Programs.

FIRST TIME potential partners that are within a college or university’s College of Education may apply for grant support to implement in school districts/schools Sanford Inspire, high-quality professional development modules that help ensure inspirational teachers are in every classroom. These one-year grants are expected to range between $25,000 and $100,000, depending on scale and impact. Under the grant:

  • Preference to implementation plans that bring in networks, consortia, or state systems and leverage greater impact.
  • Agree to submit required monthly reporting to Sanford Programs.

FIRST TIME Sanford Institute of Philanthropy affiliates may apply for support to leverage their Sanford partnership. These one-year grants will range between $25,000 and $100,000 depending on the scale of the effort and the impact that will be leveraged. Applicants must:

  • Preference to plans that bring in networks, consortia, or state systems and leverage greater impact.
  • Partners agree to submit required monthly reporting to Sanford Programs.
